If so can you tell me how you deal with a existing client wanting to add another domain account? Looking at the MB forums, it looks like the client has to order a different user account hence making the single cp feature useless. Chime in, this is very important for me to know.

Do you mean like create a sub user that can login to the control panel with different login information to the domain set up by the original user?
If so, I don't think DA users can create a seperate account for another domain.
As such ModernBill would not be able to do it until DA had that capability.
Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.

I mean does DA allow for one site owner to have multiple accounts all accessible via the same control panel? What is the "Switch" button in the control panel for?

The site owner (not admin/reseller) can not create other control panel logins for domains. He can create a unlimited number of domains but can't create a unique DA login for them.
The only solution would be to make the site owner a reseller in which case he would be able to create individual logins.
I might have misread your post the first time so,
ModernBill does have the capablity to add domains to the user package. If persay the domain slots are used up in the users package you can setup ModernBill to have the ability to automatically add another domain slot pending user purchase for the price you specify.
If the account already has unused domain slots, the user will be able to add domains through the control panel in the "Advanced Tools" -> "Domain Administration"
I hope that helps.

This is my point here. Let's see If I can be more clear.
A DA site owner can add another web hosting plan to his account under the same user, correct?
If so, how does Modernbill deal with this?

Not quite the way you state it.
A DA site owner can add another site to his account, if he's got a plan that allows it. A site owner cannot have a single login for multiple site plans.
The only way a single login can have multiple plans is if the login is for a reseller account.

That would be a great question for the people at ModernBill.
