php-phsql extension - how to install? URGENT!

Hi,
How do I install php-pgsql extension on CentOS 5.3 with Directadmin? When I try to install the rpm for it, it needs dependencies like: php-common and php-pdo.. Is it ok to install those also? Will it work?

You should probablly install php extensions through custombuild instead of as RPMs.
