Sendmail

Hi Everyone,

It is suggested in the install to remove sendmail, does this get put back after install because a lot of perl programs requires sendmail.

Hello,

Exim replaces sendmail. The programs will still call "/usr/sbin/sendmail" but that file will become a symboilic link to point to exim (done during the install). The programs won't know the difference.

Search the forums for "spamassasin" and "ClamAV" and you'll get a lot of results with other people's experience and How-To's ;)
