Hi,
First off, if anyone is interested in setting up the SafeTP (secure FTP) system from Berkely for FreeBSD systems, I'll post a how-to.
Could you (DA) please add a template file for the proftpd.vhosts.conf file as well as just the proftpd.conf file? I need it since I need to bind Proftpd onto a different port, which you have to do for each and every IP (ie Virtualhost in DA config terms) since the master setting does NOT get inherited -- Actually seems to be true for a lot of settings :(
Right now it's not THAT big of a deal, I'm using FAM to track updates to the /etc/proftpd.vhosts.conf file and then using a script to add it every time.
BTW, using FAM and Diff to track changes to the DA supported config files is a great way to implement another server service (like another ftp server, or even better, remote 2nd, 3rd, and 4th DNS servers...)
