I was wanted to suggest, just an idea for somoone if they wanted to take the time:

To write a basic tutorial on creating a DA skin. e.g. With screen shots and snippets so some of us not so good coding people can create skins :)

just a suggestion.

p.s sorry if its posted in wrong part of the forums.

There isn't simple way to edit skins so detailed tutorial isn't possible. There is description of skins format (http://www.directadmin.com/skins.html) but that's as good as it can get.

If you want to make simple skin then just open default skin, edit header2.html, footer.html and style.css and change images and you got simple customized skin.

There are changes in skins with every release of DirectAdmin, so you will have to update your skin.
