It seems the A records are not being added to the system. The records show in the DA panel but nothing resolves at this point:

http://awstats.e-vids.com

but this works:
http://199.237.51.34/~webadmin/

From the looks of things you don't have any dns records at all for that domain...

Is there anything in /var/named for that domain?

Yes there is, e-vids.com.db and everything there is correct.

from the look of things, named hasnt been reloaded... (hence the other records showing as missing also)

service named reload

Because my ole pal Jim found the error. A domain name was being added where an IP should have been. Seems to be fine now. Thanks for the replies :-)
