cgi help

I'm a newbie at all of this scripting stuff, and I've been trying to install greymatter, a blogging tool. Whenever I try to access the cgi to log in, I get a 403, can anyone help? I've checked the paths and I've gone over the files that had to be CHMODed, and I've CHMODed them, but I still can't access the log-in cgi.

are you running html files from the cgi-bin? Some tweaking of your cgi-bin/.htaccess file might be required.

I have a client wanting to run HTML in the CGI-BIN. What do I need to do to make it work? I've chmodded his HTML file to 755.
