We've been running VMware ESXi since it became free. To roll out a new virtual machine is little more than a copy. Currently, DirectAdmin is a separate install. What I would like to do is have stock VMs with DA pre-installed. When I need to deploy a new VM, I could simply clone a stock VM, and buy a new DA license for it. The question is, how difficult would it be to replace the existing license on the server with a new one?

Thanks!

'Updating your DirectAdmin License manually (http://help.directadmin.com/item.php?id=30)'.

Hope this help,

...'Updating your DirectAdmin License manually (http://help.directadmin.com/item.php?id=30)'.
So are you saying that by following the bottom example shown there I could change the cloned VM's license and IP to match a newly activated license, and DA on the new VM would be production-ready? That would be awesome!

Thanks!
