Compiled ok, but exim doesn't update

I compiled but exim version dont update

did you run the command:
cd /usr/src/redhat/RPMS/i386
rpm -Uvh da_exim-4.69-dkim1.i386.rpm
/sbin/service exim restart
if so what's the error?
Please include error message so we have something to check.
