Directadmin dont collect any bandwidth information when sending mail. So traffic management is a bit nonsence because they are limited with bandwidth for there site but they are allowed to send unlimited traffic with the SMTP server.
The problem is that i have users that send easily 150 MB a week.
Does anybody have a idea to collect the bandwidth from exim?
Arent there any scripts for this? and how can i manual add that information to DirectAdmin.

Hello,
We'll try and add this as it's something that should be included in the bandwidth total. I think it wasn't done as of yet because exim isn't too friendly when it comes to logging email bandwidth, but I'll have to have another look.

Thanks for the offer, but I know what *needs* to be done, it's just a matter of finding time and doing it.

It's possible, though it will take some "interesting" programming to make it happen.
My exim.conf log includes the "delivery_size" option. That will include an "S=" option in incoming and outgoing logging. The problem is that the domain responsible is shown differently on incoming and outgoing mail.
But it is doable.
