quota ?

I am about to install DA now, do I have to recompile kernel with quota enabled in freebsd 4.9?

I didn't have to do anything special. When installing, just choose the basic (minimum) setup option and you should be set :)

i just installed fresh freebsd with minimal setup and I started to get only errors while installing it ;[
are you sure minimal is enough ?

On the "choose distributions" page select Developer, should be #4. Thats what I meant by minimal since it doesn't come with X or games etc.
If you want kde etc then Choose #5 (x-developer) but you don't need it.
