Is there any news about when the new, great skin made by loopforever will be released?
Can anyone from DA give any ETA?

Hello,

I believe he's just polishing it up... Once we get it, it will have to be updated as it hasn't been updated with the new versions of DA.

Ok, sounds great :)
I believe there are a couple of us DA addicts who are waiting for it ;)

Where will it be announced when it is released? I can't wait until this comes out! Any closer to a date yet?

(not impatient just excited!)

I'm striving to get it into this release even if it means pushing the release back somewhat.

I've attached a screenshot of the User Panel so far. Still have to figure out how/if I'm going to add the "link tree".. the list of links that you've followed to get to the page you're on.. not sure where it belongs on the page.. maybe the bottom of the white.

Anyway, other things I've added to it are cleaner percentage bars, and they also scroll up from zero when you load the page :D (it's quite nifty). If bandwidth or quota is unlimited, that bar won't be shown (no point). Also, if there is no "domain" token the "Current Domain" bit will be hidden.

I guess we also need a help button somehwere too :)

Nah, this skin should be nice enough that nobody will ever need help again anyway!! (just kidding ;))

Probably the eaiest is a "help" icon next to the files icon at the top? - Thats your limit using that main menu bar though... it needs that space between the main menus and the logout :D

What is the hold up? I bought a DirectAdmin license waiting on the new skin and don't see it yet.

I hope and believe that we have it within the next couple of weeks?!
It`s better to do it right, than rush it out and delivere a product full of bugs.. So we`ll better wait, and when it`s here.. :D

I hope that it is out sooner then a few weeks. I purchased under the understanding that it would be out the 20th.

I totally agree Vpower! Give the guys a chance . . . more time surely means less bugs and teething problems :D

Right now I'm converting it to be able to handle languages. Have to go through each file taking out all "words". The new plugins system and several other features are also being added.

I thank you very much for this.

I see SPAM filters in the skin, but nothing on the 1.214 changelog. Will it make it?

Also, how hard would it be to include gpg key management like cPanel?

Update:

The skin is done. The release isn't  ... but I still have a few days to go. Note that there are new language tools built into DA which allows easy selection of languages for the skins (and other areas later on). So you will need this upcoming version of DA to use this skin.

Skin has been released and it's included with the next update. The next update is also done, but isn't forced out yet. To get the skin/update now now now:

Login to your Admin panel, go to Licensing/Updates, and pull the latest DirectAdmin version.

the only gripe I have is that installatron is not included in the skin (or maybe I'm blind)

1 problem so far ;)

:2222/CMD_ADMIN_SHOW

The table is a bit wide..

only other things i dislike (probably on the old skin also)

this on the cronjobs page:

]
Valid cron time values are the numbers indicated and *.
You can specifiy exact times using commas to separate them. eg: 1,2,3 (minutes 1,2 and 3)
You can specify spans using a dash. eg: 5-7 (minutes 5 to 7)
You can specify intervals using a star and a forward slash. eg: */2 (every 2nd minute)
You can combine them to create a more precise schedule. eg: 1,5,11-15,30-59/2 (minutes 1, 5, 11 to 15 and every 2nd minute between 30 and 59)
Note that there are no spaces

What about a link like...

Cron usage guide (http://user.site-helper.com/cron.html#usage)

And have that information there?

Maybe it's just me, although I think it just clutters the page up :p

Also, could the cron access be limited to users only if shell access is enabled - since it can be used to do the equivalent very easily...

Yes when creating a user also the right table seems weird.

The rest is great!
