Backupping @ ftp

The reseller backup future -> upload to ftp does not work. It says: access denied but I tried it also with my ftp client and it has the access to upload files? I have tried more accounts but I just doesn't work. Has anybody got an solution?

i back up my things through ftp, so far no problems at all, may be check with your upload folder permission, set it to 755.

Now it's working, the solution was when I was uploading to a users root dir at another machine:
Path: / must be /home/user/ or he wants to upload to the server root en then it's permission denied.
