Cannot add new IP [Archive] - DirectAdmin Forums

Hi,

I am getting error while adding new IP from IP management.

IP ***.**.**.** already exists on eth0

I am using venet0

Any help is appreciated.

I think you mean ifconfig.

ipconfig is a windows command.

yeah i did ... i flushed the dns on a windows machine 10 mins before that post :P

It means that the ip has already been assigned to the ethernet adapter 0 probably as an alias and it was down through some other means besides DirectAdmin. DA could not add the ip to the actual adpater but it should still show up in your list of ip's now.

But since you don't list the actual ip but instead give us xxx's then we can test it for you.
