Download this program:

http://the.earth.li/~sgtatham/putty/latest/x86/putty.exe

Enter your server ip address and connect with ssh protocol.

Yes I did that, how do I access awstats in DirectAdmin, it is only showing webalizer?

You have to add awstats=1 in /usr/local/directadmin/conf/directadmin.conf

Then type: /sbin/service directadmin restart

No, you don't. Awstats.sh does that automatically. You just need to restart DA (p.s. CustomBuild does that for you too).

How do i see the awstats stats

Say for security reasons i dont want this to be done ... mysite.com/stats

Any other way unlike cPanel u have the option to see from within the cpanel is there same way in there for DA

As i dont want my stats to be publicly viewable

Use the link in directadmin. It is in the logs / stats area.

More exactly: "Site Summary / Statistics / Logs" :)

Hi, i installed awstats following the instuctions in http://www.directadmin.com/features.php?id=894

I did:
cd /usr/local/directadmin/scripts
./awstats.sh

the program was installed succesfully and the stats were generated (I see the files in the /home/user/domains/domain.com/awstats folder.

My question is... where can I see the stats?
DA still shows the webalizer stats (non updated since they are disabled now) and www.domain.com/awstats links to nowhere...

*** SOLVED *****

I restarted directadmin and now i can see the awstats statistics in the control panel... (wasn't it supposed the script restarted DA? :D)

Did you wait 24 hours or force stats update manually?
