sub domain help please

Hi folks

I have created a sub domain called http://wap.northantsweather.com
When i created this, DA created a sub dir for me called wap in the public_html
folder. The problem is the new wap folder does not appear to be working properly
Its still showing the default index.html page, yet, i deleted this page and its
no longer in the wap dir.....

If you go to http://wap.northantsweather.com you will still see the default page
but if you go to www.northantsweather.com/wap you will see what should be
at the wap.northantsweather.com

Confused yet? hope not lol

Any ideas what might have gone wrong please?

I can create any other sub domain name such as mobile.northantsweather.com and they work 100%
but when i create the wap.northantsweather.com, it creates the wap folder so i delete
the default index.html file it deletes its ok, so i upload the files to the wap folder and its still
showing the default index.html page, this is very baffleing, it works fine with any other name sub name but not wap...

Is there a reason for this please?

Can you post the result of running the following from inside your wap subdirectory?

# ls -al *

I tried it on my cellphone as well, with the same result :( .
