Error Adding New User - Invalid Database Name...

Hello

When I add a user it shows me this error:

Cannot create user

Details

Invalid Database Name

What is the database name that is invalid? Sometimes it adds a user properly but most of adds are like this.
My system: FreeBSD 6.3-RELEASE-p5, DA 1.32.3
Please HELP

Do you mean adding a new system user or database user? If database user what are you entering?

I mean that I click "Add new user", filling the form, click add user and... this error shows. System user.

I just remembered that even when adding a system user it is also adding that same user as a database user.

What is the username you are trying to add?

Any name... test, client, whatever i try to insert it says the same.
I figured that I cannot use special chars like - , . etc. so I'm using just small letters. Last name that I tried to insert was picohaft
Strange isn't it?

I know test is definitely a reserved username and cannot be used.

Make sure you don't have a space at the beginning or end. You cannot easily see spaces so they can really mess with our minds.

I sent an email to support@directadmin.com maybe they will find out what's going on. It's a little problematic to provide hosting service without availability to create new users:-)

For these people who has the same problem. Do not add custom form fields named "name" :)
