Hello, is there a way for da_admin to use MySQL Administrator to access databases on a DA server?

you can try to use those mysql administration software. Try this, www.navicat.com, download the Navicat for MySQL, Lite version, it is free of charge, (not the paying version) and i think you can connect with the SSH Tunnel feature, try if this works. :)

First try didn't work! I got locked out of the server.
