I need help with plug-ins and scripts

Hello,

I'm new to DA and need help on how to install plug-ins, scripts, etc.
I am basically trying to install an IP blocking plug-in.

I looked at the 'generic' DA website and they show no how-to's on
installing plug-ins, scripts. I know how to navigate already. I've
created a PHP database. I've uploaded the script. Now what?

I keep reading about the 'plugin controller for DA'...
What is that? I don't see anything like that. If they're referring to
Installatron, that doesn't seem to allow any script installations other than
what is offered. So that's of no use. :mad:

If someone could atleast point me in the right direction, that'd be great.
Maybe I should just cut my losses and find another webhost that uses Cpanel
which I'm used to and my current host 'SAID' they offered. Suprisingly so,
after I just transferred over a week ago, they said they no longer use it as they found it 'unstable'. :mad:
