deleted site

I've totally deleted the whole site with directadmin. In order to refresh it with a new site. The thing is, I can't seem to get the new site on the right place. It has got something to do with /public_html or something. I don't know how to 'reset' the right folder.
Help.
I am not so experienced.

Hi Maria,
Is there still a public_html directory? The webserver looks for the website files inside; /home/USER/public_html/.
As soon as there is at least an index.html (or index.php) file inside that directory you should be able to see it at http://your.server/~USER

Technically its /home/USER/domains/DOMAINNAME/public_html/
