Migrating from freeBSD to Debian

Hi if i migrate from freebsd to debian will i fase with some problems like incompability? That is best way to do this migration?

No, you won't :) Use "Admin Backup/Transfer" feature.

the only incompatiblity you can encounter may be the bsdtar to gnutar incompatibility.

Hint:
Before doing backups on frebsd box, change the tar symlink to gtar instead of bsdtar (you ma need to install gtar from ports).
