Hi,

I'm having difficulty changing the email address for the main admin user.

Right now, it is sending all account set ups, etc.. from my personal email account. I need it to send from my corporate address.

I've tried the "modify user admin" button, but there is no option. I have also changed the email under the ticket center. Doesn't help.

What do I do next?

Edit:

/usr/local/directadmin/data/users/admin/user.conf

Change the line where it reads:

email=you@wherever.com

And save :). That's all ;)!

Hmm,

Sounds complicated for me. I'll get Adam to do it. Thanks loop. :)

To be honest, editing a file isn't really that hard :p.

Hello,

The email that is used to send "from" for account creations is a user level setting, so go into your User Panel, click on "Stats / Logs" .... the naming might be a big confusing for what you're trying to do, but that's where you save the email address... The screen shows all settings, so this is where the user can set one of the few user settings he's allowed to change :)
