godaddy nameserver creation not working

i have created two nameservers on godaddy for my new directadmin server...

i have waited for 24 hours but still they do not work... the nameservers are:

ns1.indivibes.net
ns2.indivibes.net

everything seems to be ok in the godaddy backend. but they are just not resolving.

any clues?

Did you actually set up DNS at GoDaddy? Or just register the nameservers? if you just registered the nameservers, with the IP#s of your DirectAdmin server, then you have to set up the nameservers on DirectAdmin.

i created nameservers and added them to the domain.

they are working now. i guess it just took its own time.

incidentally, i still cannot ping the nameservers. i thought they were supposed to respond to the ping command!

I can ping them fine.

It may be an issue on your local system or the network.

ah cool then! i still cant ping ns1.indivibes.net after 2 days of creation! :)
