Hi,

I have a question to do with the shared SSL on DA, here is my situation:

DA server hostname: control.example.com
Domains on host: example.com, another.com, domian.com...

So my question is can I get an SSL for the whole server for *.example.com, to that everyone uses the purchase cert, but more importantly the example.com web pages use the cert without any warning messages?

Thank you

You have to buy a wildcard ssl certificate. They are like $300 usd a year or more.

OUCH!

I suppose its cheaper to buy a normal SSL for control.example.com

and

another for example.com...?

Where is the cheapest wildcard SSL's to be had?

Thanks

Godaddy has cheap certs.....

Does anyone knows if a wild card SSL can be used on different machines or do they have to reside on the same machine ?
d1.xx.com -> ip1
d2.xx.com -> ip2
etc.

GoDaddy have the standard certs, not the "Root" version

Good question, I would like to know this too.
