You can use it to manage things that DirectAdmin does not. Don't use it for things like apache, bind, mysql.

I just installed it alongside DA and all went perfectly on Debian Etch 4.0

My dedicated server provider said it's ok as long as you don't alter apache or sql settings next to DA as it can cause BIG problems.

Howto here...

I will be treading very carefully for a while I think.

David, congratulations. I've been told from few guys that Webmin is much easier to config as well as support.
Just installed it on 2 servers - yep, love it. since 2005 it changed a lot and I consider to use it on whole our network.

Just to complement what others have already said:

DirectAdmin should be used for things specific for web hosting.

I see a lot of posts about people wanting DirectAdmin to do server administration. That is not what DirectAdmin is for.

People who want a control panel for server administration should use Webmin. Its free and is exactly what administrators want.

any tutorial in how to install webmin when direct admin is already installed?
In installation process what we should avoid?
or just after installation we should change some files?
