Apache Configuration For Busy Servers

What specific settings are you using for busy servers? I mean Startservers, Maxclients, and other directives that are applies to Apache Performance

Just many requests from a little number of users. The problem was solved by turning Keepalive On

Yea, keepalive on + keepalive timeout to 1 or 2 will do it.
