Same features, only bugs?

I was wondering if the FreeBSD version had the same features as the RH one.

I wouldn't want to switch to 5.2 to find out that some features were removed because these were not ready yet.

As far as I know all the features are there, and DA is quite stable on 5.2.1 now.

I was thinking, if you are new to FreeBSD it might be best to stick with FBSD 4.9. There are still all types of minor issues (with 5.x). If you are up to the job it is very stable but you will notice issues here and their that you may need to work out.

The tradeoff is its newer, faster and better than 4.x series.

I'm using 5 @ the office, but there will be a sysadmin taking care of the DA server, so I hope he'll be able to handle the bugs ;)
