hosts.deny problem

Hello,
I need to block some ips so I added them into /etc/hosts.deny but without success. Iptables is enabled. It is OpenVZ VPS. OS is CentOS 5. APF also does not work.
Please, help.

If you're sure that you're using the correct format of your /etc/hosts.deny file, and it still doesn't work, then the problem may be with OpenVZ.
