implementing external mysql solution

hi, how would i go about implementing external mysql server to integrate to directadmin?

i need to separate the servers of web files and mysql. is there a configuration on the directadmin to do this?

Basically, I need directadmin to create database on the mysql server and send the email with the correct hostname for the db hostname and etc.. as well as tallying etc...
