Hi,
I recently installed clamav & mailscanner as described in the "how to" forums, allwas ok for about 7 - 10 days. now a large amount of legitimate mails are getting delivered but tagged as spam.
i.e. {Spam?} RE: your project
is this something to do with clamav & mailscanner or a latest DA upgrade ?

more info....
I installed clamav and mailscanner on the 7th March.
Started getting alot of mails marked as {spam?} on the 15th march.
Anyone know why this is happening ?, clients are getting pretty angry at having the subjects of mails changed to include the word "spam"

Hello,
DA hasn't made any changes to exim, so it would be some setting with exim/spamassassin/clamav. You could have a look at /etc/mail/spamassassin/local.cf to see if it's being too strict (or where it is with clamav (never used clamav before))

Teedee: something has changes on that date for a certain list (a spam list server) it appears, had the problem here too.
I turned off spam checks on that server completely and it was fixed...
No solutions to it yet (i don't know what server caused it... :( )

One of the RBLs stopped working early this week; it failed in "mark everything as spam" mode.
It's the one with the word "monkeys" in the name; sorry I can't remember the whole thing.
So if you've got that one, take it out of the file and restart your daemons.
