email send from my domains

i keep getting email with viruses coming from my domains, well the send adress: managment@domain.com is my domain, original adresses are spoofed

what can i do about this? we don't have any mailscanner or spamassasin
can i block certain ips from emailing to that domain?

No their is nothing you can do. It is called spoofing as most spam email is. That is one of the popular viruses going around now, I forgot the name of it.

This is what I have suggested before and it seems most people agree we need to fix one simple problem with that archaic email system, address verification. A reverse MX type of idea that would verify who the sender is. I posted this in the General Forum a while back after a bunch of us were thinking of how we could help fix the problem.
