Nameserver Help

Hello,

Im just wondering is it possible to make the same nameservers work for 2 seperate servers with seperate IP's for example :

NS1.DOMAIN.COM
NS2.DOMAIN.COM

To point to server1.domain.com & server2.domain.com, even if the server is with 2 different companys with different IP's?

If so how would i go about doing it?

Im sorry if this is something simple, but im not good with DNS

I have been reading about dns clustering & multi server setup, but it just isn't sinking in.

Please answer like I am a 5 year old!

Yes, it's possible.

But you don't explain exactly what you're trying to do.

Do you want two separate nameservers pointing to the same domain on one IP#?

Or do you want two separate copies of the domain on two separate servers, each with it's own IP#?

Both links look the same to me. Was there supposed to be a different one?
