IP change

Hello,

Actually I'm experiencing problems with my Internet Provider, therefore i falled in thought of changing it; this means that the IP Range for my server would change.

I need to know what happens with my lifetime license.

Will it keep working?
Is there any procedure for managing an IP Change for this license?, or how should i deal with this problem?

You just need to email DA when the time comes and tell them about the changes (incl. user id and license number) and they will update the ip address that your server is on. So it should continue to work.

nah, i was looking for this info too! i've got 2 licenses, my 1st licenses is installed in a VPS, i never use it actually, so i was thinking when next time i order another ded server, i will be changing my 1st license's ip.

btw, do i send email to support@directadmin.com

and in order to confirm i'm the true license owner, what information do i need to provide?

will user id and ip address do?
