Exim won't start

Hello,

Exim stopped today and I can't get it to start back up. I get this error.


[@server /]$ sudo /sbin/service exim restart
Shutting down exim:
Starting exim: /usr/sbin/exim: symbol lookup error: /lib/libdb-4.3.so: undefined symbol: __dbcl_db_get_pagesire

The only change that would have been made is my host assigned me an additional IP today. Could that have impacted exim somehow. Thanks for any help.

I don't see how an IP# addition could cause this. Have you checked to make sure nothing in your system was upddated in the day before you noticed the problem?

Have you tried updating exim?
