Hi to all,
we have to assign 2 different host names for the same ip address.
Is it possible do this fact on DirectAdmin ?

For example we want to use this configuration:

ns1.example.org -> 1.2.3.4
ns2.example.org -> 5.6.7.8

ns1.antoherdomain.org -> 1.2.3.4
ns2.antoherdomain.org -> 5.6.7.8

Thanks to all

Yes that is possible.

In fact you will find that IP is already a shared.

Your host uses just one IP for ALL the domains on their server.
This is what is known as "shared IP"

To do it you set up what DirectAdmin calls virtual nameservers.

Hey, so, um, how does one do this?

Say I'm the admin, and I have my nameservers set up and working fine. How do I create two more virtual nameservers (that only belong to me, the admin, not to a reseller)?

Thanks!

Reseller level, Nameservers.
