Does anyone know if there is a way to do this using an RPM package for CentOS 4.6?Although I don't have a testing server to give you a definite answer, but these RPMs should work with CentOS v4.x:
ftp.centos.org/4.6/centosplus/x86_64/RPMS/perl-5.8.8-5.el4s1_2.x86_64.rpm
ftp.centos.org/4.6/centosplus/i386/RPMS/perl-5.8.8-5.el4s1_2.i386.rpm
Proceed at your own risk ;)
and i close ssh windows and run command make install and other command on that url.and with perl -v my ssh does not show perl version it says command not found. my operation system is fedora core 6.Perl is very very crucial application for the system. What was the error message when compile stopped?
