Packages with a title

Wouldn't it be an idea to give packages not only a "name" (which is used internally by DA and scripts) but also a "title" (which may include spaces, dots and other "strange" characters)?

And then making problems installing and updating because the installer is not generic anymore? I dont think so! ;)

I don't know exactly what you mean by this. The "name" would still be leading in the whole installation process. It's just that in the GUI an extra "title" meta-field is provided, and perhaps even a "description" meta-field to make extra information about the package available.

This can not be done through some kind of plugin. Only the DA core this could be changed. Therefor my post was more-or-less ment for the DA-team itself.

For sure nobody wants an ugly solution which will cause more problems than benefits.
