Pine

Has anyone had problems sending mail via Pine through exim.
I'm doing SMTP authentication. It mentions something about a certificate not begin valid. If I attempt to continue I get
Problem detected: "Received abort signal".
Pine Exiting.

Any idea's would be greatly appreciated.

Pine works fine for me and sounds like you might be using secure connection? Did you check the config?

Pine should work. Check the exim logs.. if the certificates are exim realted, then run this:

openssl req -x509 -newkey rsa:1024 -keyout /etc/exim.key -out /etc/exim.cert -days 9999 -nodes

What should the directory be for pine the inbox path i currently have set,


inbox-path = {/home/karlglover/mail/karlglover.net/karl}inbox


But it appears not to be liking it, when i try and check my inbox i get the following error,


[Can't open folder {/home/karlglover/mail/karlglover.net/karl}inbox: invalid remote specification]

Any suggestions?
