I Need Help With Mutiserver Setup!! [Archive]

this morning I migrated 2 servers onto new equipment with new IP addresses also ..

What was supposed to be a very quick painless endeavor, has resulted in 30% of my customers with no sites all day long ...

Could somebody with multiserver experience PLEASE help me to properly configure this ...

Virtually every domain affected returns similar info to this :

DNS server ns2.a1websolutions.com[66.112.214.211] is alive, but not authoritative for domain 'chorvatsko-ubytovani.info' and didn't return SOA

DNS server ns1.a1websolutions.com[66.112.214.210] is alive, but not authoritative for domain 'chorvatsko-ubytovani.info' and didn't return SOA

0 server(s) are alive
No DNS servers alive, tests stopped

I think I may have solved the problem ...

alright .... I have all but ONE domain resolving, and I am pulling out all my hair

the DNS zone looks fine, and 3 other domains on the same account with same IP work fine too!

Your DNS server is not responding to the request or your zone file is corrupted :)
