Would it be possible to include a random password generator (like the one used when creating new users) to the database creation form? This could (should?) generate a longer (like.. 16 random characters?) password for the newly created database user. Generally (in my experience), database user's credentials are entered once in some application in which they're used (CMS, weblog system, etc.) and after that never edited or entered, so this can be an immemorable password imo.

This is a good idea. The easier you make it for users the better it is.
I would also recommend a feature they have in cpanel 11. It gives a measurement of how secure your passwords are. Perhaps if some users visually see how feeble their passwords are, they would just use the random passwords.

Nice, thanks!

Does that include the how-secure-is-my-password-meter?

Likely not.
