I need to install SSL certificates for two domains that are both owned by the same reseller/user. What is the best procedure to follow to get the domains onto their own dedicated IPs? I realize that there is no built-in functionality to do this, but what is the best method? I also realize that I may have to create new users/resellers to move the accounts to.

The DirectAdmin way is to have the two domains on separate user accounts.

Assuming you have free IPs ready to use, just log into your Admin account, click Show All Users, click on the account name you want to move, then click on the Modify User username button. Under Change the User's IP there's a selection box which allows you to choose any free IP.

BUT, the account has something like 11 domains under it. I ONLY want to put 2 of them onto their own seperate IPs so I can install SSL certificates.

Those domains will need separate accounts and dedicated IPs in order for each of them to have certificates other than shared certs.

Yes, I realize this, but what is the procedure to GET these domains onto new user accounts and dedicated IPs? Do I have to remove them and set them back up from scratch or is there a way to move them? Or is there a backup/restore procedure that lets me easily move them from one user to another user. Again, I need to take 2 domains from ONE user that has 12 or so domains and move them both onto new accounts with new IPs so I can install SSL certs.

You can backup up an entire user, then move the backup somewhere you can play with it, and remove everything except for the one site. Then restore it to a new user.

It's probably just as easy to create the site again.
