One is a domain the other is a subdomain
Main Domain:
domain.com
Sub Domaim
sub.domain.com

Thanks for the reply.
I understand with a main domain is and what a subdomain is, I just wasn't sure what a virtual domain is...
My host company says I have 4 virtual domains and unlimited subdomains.

You can have 4 main domains on your account and unlimited subdomains...

Hello,
FYI: The "virtual" bit is from the apache config file used for name based hosting when you have multiple domains running on one IP.
