standard email does not work

Hi,

I posted this problem earlier, but didn't get any answers out of it. When i create an account, the server created a standard e-mail address, but it doesn't work when i want to login.

I tried to login with the username and the password of the account and the whole email address and password of the account. When i manually add an email address, it does work when i try to login.

Did anybody else had this type of problem or do you know how i can solve this? Thank you!

The 'user' you create in DA by default has an Email login of 'user'. (no domain)

This is due to the fact it's a real user (located in the password file with a home directory, etc).

Any additional users require the @domain.com.

You can create an Email forwarder for user -> user@domain.com if you wish them to be all the same.

But as you could see i said that i couldn't login with just the username either..

so:

1) logging in with the default email address and password of the account doesn't work
2) logging in with the username of the account and password of the account doesn't either

it works for me. Care to show us a working (as in nonworking example to test?

Set up user example on your system with domain example.com, and send the welcome email to me at my address in my sig. I'll put it into my local hosts file and do some testing.

After we've got it figured out you can delete the domain.
