I've been having a problem with vm-pop3d chewing up my cpu. This causes my system load to jump up around 5 and just hang there until I restart vm-pop3d.

I just tried reducing the timeout and limiting child processes, we'll see if that does anything...

Anyone else experience this type of thing? Possible solutions? I've had no luck searching.

The best solution is to switch to dovecot :)

That changes the mailbox format, right? If so, that's a no-go for my machine. Many many gigs of mail. :(

It's better to do that now than later ;)

But, Martynas... he may not have enough space on the server to do the conversion.
