Hi,
i am interest to install freebsd 4.9 with directadmin.
Until now i not have work in freebsd, so can you please inform me some sample examples about good partitions for a directadmin server?
The scecifications is:
P4 2.8G
1G ram
80G HDD

My datacenter can install freebsd, i just want to know what space it is better to put in every partition.
I think about swap /boot /var / and maybe /home.
Can the current freebsd server administrators can give me info about what partitions can recomended for a 80G HDD?
Thanks a lot.
Regards,
Christos

What would you recommend for 100 and 40gb hard drives.
Since having two hds that I can't apply raid to makes it a little more difficult.

Would you recommend I put /home on the 100 and everything else (logs, cp, etc.) on the 40gb?
