MySQL 5.0.45 had been released. It's already in Weals update script.

Even if i recompile php it says the old version

You need to update script then update mysql 5

i did

./update.script MYSQL32

and then recompile with customdbuild script

and this doesnt work

[root@server updatescript]# ./update.script DATE

client version still doesnt update after recompiling php and apache
