[Question]How to change email user login name

Currently, my email users have to login webmail or smtp by using
XXX@YYY.com
as their login name.

But I want to just use XXX as their login name. How to configurate?

or install third-party Webmail agent?

You have to create a real user and not just an email user. Then you will have to forward the mail for XXX@YYY.com to XXX@hostname.

And if you do that, then you won't be able to have duplicate email names on the server.

For example you won't be able to have both:

jeff@example.com

and

jeff@example.net
