I'm sure it's possible to add this to DA, but I wonder if anyone has done so? I have a few sites that could use servlets, preferrably inside tomcat.

I'm sure it's possible, but I've never done it. Just use the custom httpd.conf feature, or the virtual_host*.conf templates to add the required lines to the httpd.conf files.
