Email others when using Reseller/Admin Backup

using either the Admin Backup (beta) tool, or the user backup tool at reseller level, it would be very handy to have an "email: X" option.

We do not regularly monitor the messaging system in DA, so the option to send an email outside of DA would be nice when a back/restore has finished.

CPanel has this facility and i love it! (im using it cos im moving all our CPanel clients to DirectAdmin, thanks L0rdphil for the tool for this BTW)

Why aren't you having all your messages sent to you as emails?

No real reason, but that is outside what i am asking for here. Of course we could set something up on the server to handle this, but it would be nice if the option were already there, say if you were working with someone outside of your own organization.

Well there is an option in the backups:

"Send a message when a backup has finished. "

which won't send anything if you uncheck it, unless there is an error, then it will send you the error message.

It does use the message system, which will then forward you the notification... and it does have the "your backup is done" or "an error occured while creating the backup" in the message , so you don't really need to check in the messaging system it if you just want to know it finished, as the subject would let you know.
