.htaccess adding extra users in the .passwd file

First where can i find the .passwd file? It dosent show up in the ftp client, or in the online file manager. I have list of users i need to add from my old host.

I just want to paste them into the .passwd file, but i cant see or find it.

Help please!! :D

It's not under the document root for security reasons.

What do I need to use to view this> FTP dosent work nor does the CP file manager.

"subdir" is just an example... use the path you want from /domains/bluesandcap.com/.htpasswd/public_html/

but where is it by default? I have it protected right now, so where did it place the file? I just want to add the rest of the encrypted passwords...

I cant creat a directory called .htpasswd it just dosent show up...

In the Filemanager it would be hidden because it starts with a dot. Try manually going to that directory by typing it in the location bar.

FYI, next release hidden files are un-hidden in the Filemanager.
